Q3: My Windows98 computer takes a long time to reboot during the SeedPlanner install. Why?

A: If you are asked to reboot your computer after the SeedPlanner installation has finished copying files to your computer's hard drive, then the installation has also installed some system files which must be "registered" with Windows. The system files are registered when your computer reboots, just as Windows is starting up again. Only the wizards at Microsoft know why, but this registration process takes much longer on Windows98 than it does on Windows95 or WindowsNT.

What you will see during the registration process is a blank desktop with no icons, and there will be periodic disk activity. Please be patient, it may take a few minutes but do not reboot during this time.
